Summary:
The HR Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting both the Human Resources and Marketing departments.
Responsibilities encompass a wide range of HR functions, including payroll management, talent acquisition, employee recognition, and onboarding processes.
Additionally, the role extends to providing general administrative support to the marketing team.
This in-office position requires presence Monday through Friday, from 8:
00 AM to 4:
30 PM, with no opportunity for remote work.
This position serves as an excellent introduction to the Human Resources field, offering valuable insights and hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

Prepares exit packets for employees leaving CCMSI and new hire welcome packets for employees joining the company in an accurate and timely manner.
Tracks the return of equipment from former employees.
Assists with Employee Recognition initiatives including service award gifts, receptions, and certificates for awardees.
Prints employee ID badges for new employees using Adobe Photoshop.
Assists Talent Acquisition with sourcing potential candidates & other administrative tasks.
Supports Marketing by assisting with assembling, printing and binding RFPs as needed.
Assists Marketing with various tasks including printing, ordering supplies, printing certificates, and shipping items to various offices for trade shows and conferences.
Assists Payroll Coordinator by auditing timecards for completion each pay period as well as other various payroll audits.
Prepares, prints, and distributes service anniversary certificates to managers and supervisors for presentation to employees on a yearly basis.
Prepares, prints, and distributes, LevelUP Graduate certificates and pins.
Follows up with managers for photos for social media.
Coordinates scheduling of high school job shadowers to promote the LevelUP program.
Ordering memorial service flowers on behalf of CCMSI in accordance with Bereavement Policy.
Coordinating Retirement receptions for the Danville office when they occur in accordance with Recognition Policy.
Assist HR professionals with various projects and assignments.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Individual must be:
Proficient in Microsoft Suites; Adobe Acrobat highly preferred Knowledgeable of Photoshop, InDesign, Corel, or Illustrator is a plus Experienced with print production & marketing is a plus Able to write and communicate professionally Able to prioritize and work well within deadlines Team player with a positive attitude Education and/or Experience High School Diploma required Associate's Degree preferred but not required Computer Skills Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is required.
Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Corel or Illustrator is preferred but not required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
