Providing engineering support to the plastic molding processes, including material processing and analysis, equipment, design guidelines, material selection, material performance, and future developments;
Serving as the technical liaison for customer and national/international material suppliers;
Coordinating material and process characteristics with tool engineering for implementation of new products;
Providing technical support to launch teams for material and process capability for product designs;
Performing material performance studies;
Assisting in the development of new plastic-related technologies.
EDUCATION: 4-year Engineering degree required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

years of engineering experience in a material and process related position;
Must have injection molding and plastics engineering experience in automotive supplier manufacturing;
Strong knowledge of standards such as SAE or ASTM;
Technical writing, data analysis, problem solving;
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
Organization, planning and business software (MS Office) skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
