Managing Tool Feasibility of all new parts coming out of design;
Attending Design Review meetings to review product design for tool construction;
Supplying Program Management with tooling requirements for customer approval;
Approving tool designs including preliminary, intermediate, and final;
Ensuring overall part feasibility for production purposes.
EDUCATION: 4-year or 2-year degree, or Journeyman Tool & Die Maker.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
8
years of manufacturing experience in tool feasibility or tool and die making;
Skills in problem solving, planning, organizational and analytical;
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office;
Good interpersonal and communication skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
