Assisting in the development, designing, testing, and installation of automated manufacturing systems and processes;
Providing engineering support to the assembly processes including coatings, molding, and improving and implementing new processes;
Analyzing product and/or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs that can be produced using existing equipment and processes;
Serving as technical liaison for customers and suppliers regarding the assembly processes;
Providing technical assistance to Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing to help resolve quality concerns, increase productivity, and improve safety.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Controls Engineering preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
2
years of automation engineering experience;
Strong knowledge of standards such as SAE or ASTM;
Technical writing, data analysis, problem solving;
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
Organization, planning and business software (MS Office) skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
