Supplier Quality Engineer (2 needed)

Developing suppliers in the areas of Quality, Delivery, Service, and Total Cost;
Performing Supplier Quality Systems Surveys and supplier process reviews;
Leading the component part design review meetings;
Working with the companies Buyer to gather information and make decisions;
Assisting Purchasing in coordinating all Localization activities;
Reviewing and approving ISIR submissions;
Coordinating the resolution of quality issues with company departments, customers, and suppliers;
Performing technical and statistical investigations and analysis on supplier-related quality issues;
Analyzing processes to reduce defects;
Developing improvements to manufacturing conditions, processes, equipment, jigs, and production line flow.
EDUCATION: 4-year engineering degree required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
2
years of related manufacturing quality experience;
5
years of experience in automotive SQE and customer service preferred;
JIT manufacturing environment preferred;
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control techniques;
Plastics or Mechanical background preferred;
Strong manufacturing technical knowledge in statistics, inspection, testing, and/or dimensional layout preferred;
Analytical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
Competent organizational, planning and computer skills, including MS Office.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
