Managing the Customer Service and Dispatch department;
Acting as the primary contact/expert for the MATRICS (Material Tracking Inventory Control System);
Supporting the Distribution Supervisors;
Ensuring that all policies, procedures and GMPs are followed;
Working with the department safety representative and ensuring all safety presentations are completed on time;
Generating weekly accuracy charts based on the inventory cycle count;
Researching and responding to customer complaints;
Assisting in resolving invoicing issues;
Denying or accepting accessorial charges from carriers;
Working with shift supervisors and Hi-Rise Operators to resolve HP9000 issues;
Productivity performance maintenance and reporting, BUNDL, LPT;
Writing comprehensive training documents, and conducting training sessions for revised or new processes;
Enforcing the company environmental policies.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Logistics, Business Administration or related disciplines preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing distribution environment;
Experienced in MATRICS, HP9000, BUNDL, LPT, MS Office;
Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment;
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
