Providing support to the plant for CAPA processes;
Training and coaching personnel in CAPA system and execution: documenting investigations, root cause analysis and effectiveness checks;
Developing tools for effective CAPA meetings, and overseeing plant CAPA meetings;
Tracking CAPA status and escalate issues with past-due and ineffective CAPA;
Generating management review metrics, conducting analysis and using data to identify areas for process improvement and consistency;
Performing quality policy compliance assessments and best practice sharing.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required in Food Science or related disciplines.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3
years in food manufacturing quality, R&D, or operations;
Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing conversion, logistics operations, procurement, commercialization, process capability, and regulatory/health authorities management;
Root cause and Failure Analysis skills;
Ability to build risk assessment/management perspective and skills;
Understands plant information systems such as SAP, Quality Suite, VOICE, Meridian;
Green Belt/Black Belt or applicable Lean Six Sigma application experience;
ISO and/or FSSC 22000 experience is a plus;
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
