Process Engineer, Automation
Location : Danville, IL, USA
Providing engineering support to the assembly processes;
Analyzing product and/or equipment specifications and performance requirements;
Technical liaison for customers and suppliers regarding the assembly processes;
Advising launch teams of assembly process capability for product designs;
Assisting in the development, design, testing, and installation of automated manufacturing systems and processes;
Providing technical assistance to help resolve quality concerns, increase productivity, and improve safety;
Assisting Design and Development groups in selecting processes for introduction into new programs.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
2
years of engineering experience in the assembly process area of new product manufacturing;
Knowledge of standards such as Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) or American Standard Technical Methods (ASTM);
Technical writing, data analysis, problem solving;
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
