Position Description:
We are seeking a certified Speech/Language Pathologist for a Full-Time caseload in the Danville, IL, area.
Qualifications:
o Must be a licensed/certified Speech/Language Pathologist in the state of Illinois.
o Should have experience with working in a school setting.
o Must have excellent references.
o Must have current, up-to-date clearances.
o Must enjoy working with children.
Responsibilities:
o Consultation and collaboration.
o Conduct collaborative assessments using evidence-based practices to identify students with communication disorders, as well as inform instruction and intervention.
o Address personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs which impact educational goals.
o Assist in development, reevaluation, and continued support in students' Individual Education Programs (IEP's).
o Support the interrelationships across the language processes of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
o Family-school collaboration services.
o Recognition and respect of diversity in development and learning.
o Legal, ethical, and professional practices in compliance with federal and state mandates, as well as local policies concerning performance.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
