Psychologist (Mental Health Outpatient Clinic)

The clinician holding this full-time position provides general mental health services for patients at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Danville, IL.
S/he may also provide services for patients in Saturday and/or evening clinics.
S/he provides assessment in primary intervention for Veterans suffering adjustment, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
This clinician has training in and prior experience providing a full range of psychological services to an adult population presenting with a wide variety of needs.
S/he may complete compensation and pension examinations.
Provides a full range of psycho-diagnostic services (including formal assessment utilizing standardized instruments).
Treats individuals in need using the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care.
Performs evaluations for Veterans presenting with issues related to readjustment to civilian life following deployment, issues related to combat trauma, and general mental health concerns.
Provides a full range of therapeutic interventions including individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, marital therapy, and family therapy to Veterans presenting for services at the Danville Mental Health Clinic.
Consults with medical care staff on a wide variety of patient care issues.
Participates in program evaluation and/or research activities.
Performs all clinical functions independently while providing guidance and/or supervision to others.

30 pm (Monday - Friday) with Saturday coverage 8:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
