Sr. Process Engineer, Coatings 47025
Identifying and tracking material, process, and equipment performance for feedback into design; Maintaining company specifications for coating issues; Serving as the technical liaison for customer, national and international material specifications; Advising and educating product launch teams on material and process capability for product designs; Coordinating material and process characteristics to Tooling and Equipment Engineering for implementation on new products.
EDUCATION:
4-year degree required; Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical disciplines.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
4
years of manufacturing process experience; 2
years of experience with coatings application equipment including design concept, writing specifications, quotation submission and evaluation, through to installation; Automotive experience preferred, SAE and or ASTM; Air management, both plant environmental and equipment; Coatings application procedures including flash, dry, cure steps; Technical ability to analyze and resolve issues after equipment installation; Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; Able and willing to travel as needed to support product launches and solve technical problems.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
