The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention (OMHSP) is dedicated to providing access to quality mental health care and preventing suicide among our Nation's Veterans. Across VA's integrated health care system, the Department provides a multitude of resources that offer Veterans the support they deserve. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) believes every Veteran suicide is a tragic outcome. Regardless of the numbers or rates, one Veteran suicide is one too many. VA is spreading the word throughout VA that suicide prevention is everyone's responsibility.
