Your Responsibilities Summary The E-Tech reports to the Electronic Services Group Leader and is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing plant equipment with regards to electronic components and programming.
Major Areas of Responsibility Troubleshooting and repairing plant equipmentPLC programmingSpecific Responsibilities of the Job Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plant equipment involving checking voltages, changing out bad components, switching out gauges, as well as making camera and software adjustmentsProgram PLCs and diagnose machine faults/failures related to CNC, Servo, AC Motion Controls, related electronic componentsResearch and recommend machine control upgrades to address outdated controlsDocument changes to electrical drawings and generate upgraded drawingsPrepare daily log reports and document/track the off shift activity to ensure proper follow up on machine problems and repairsStandards of PerformanceMinimizes downtime and improves machine efficiency Your Profile QualificationsEducation/Credentials/CertificationsAssociate's Degree in Electronics curriculumLength of Experience 2-5 years of experience troubleshooting electronic controls in a manufacturing settingKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of electronicsUnderstanding of schematics and program readingKnowledgeable in a variety of machine softwareBasic algebraic mathematical abilityUnderstanding of standard to metric conversionsExcellent oral and written language abilityAbility to follow step-by-step proceduresAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environmentWillingness to learnExcellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft OfficeSalary:
